Changing of the Guard

By Rem Rieder
Rem Rieder ( is AJR's editor and senior vice president.

I'm pleased to announce that Debra Durocher is joining AJR as assistant managing editor. Durocher, 26, an AJR contributor and onetime world class editorial assistant at the magazine, is leaving The New Republic , where she also held the AME title.

Her duties will include editing the Free Press section of the magazine and writing the Bylines column.

I'm less than pleased to announce that her predecessor, Suzan Revah , is leaving. Revah, 26, like Durocher a star AJR editorial assistant and former New Republic editor, has been our associate editor for three years.

Revah will become associate editor of , a division of CNET , an online news service covering technology based in San Francisco.

Revah has made enormous contributions to AJR, both as a talented professional and as a wonderful human being. She will be missed, but she's been talking about her dream of moving to San Francisco for as long as we can remember, and we wish her well.

And if she really has to leave, I can't imagine a better successor than Durocher, an exceedingly talented journalist who has remained part of the AJR family during her TNR stint.

La Suz, I know I speak for everyone here when I wish you the best of everything always. And don't miss any deadlines when you file your Free Press pieces.

Deb, welcome back. I know you'll have a huge, and positive, impact on the magazine.

If you had asked me to predict which brand would debut a new logo on its Fall 2017 runway, I wouldn't have guessed Fendi. The brand already has both an iconic logo print and logo hardware that longchamp outlet it has barely capitalized on during the recent resurgence of that look in the accessories market, but for Fall 2017, those things sit alongside the Fendi brand markers we all know and love from the 90s and mulberry replica handbags early 2000s. The new logo hardware is featured prominently on a slew of new flap bags, and it's an open circle with an F resting on its side at the bottom, as though it fell that way. The new replica designer handbags logo's best use by far is as the center of a flower made of leather petals on micro bags and bag charms, several of which made it to the runway alongside the larger bags. Fendi's Zucca logo fabric, which has long been mostly missing from the brand's bags, also figured prominently in several pieces, and now is the perfect time for it to be returning to favor among the label's bag designers.
