  • Nine local television stations (In January, the Times Co. agreed to sell its Broadcast Media Group to Oak Hill Capital Partners for $575 million; the sale is expected to close in the first half of the year.)

  • WQEW-AM (ABC exercised its right to purchase the New York City station at the end of 2006; sale for $40 million expected to close in early 2007.)

  • Sold: Discovery Times Channel (The Times Co. signed a contract to sell its 50 percent ownership interest in the digital cable channel in September, recording a loss of $8 million.)
