Bigger and Ledbetter Things
Former Village Voice columnist joins the ranks of the Netheads.

Ledbetter, 33, says he's looking forward to something different: "After 400 or so media columns, you find yourself saying the same thing you said a few years back." In his new role, which he assumed in September, he'll be primarily covering "the large New York-based traditional media companies..examining what they are doing or not doing with new media." That subject, says Industry Standard Editor in Chief Jonathan Weber, is an "oddly undercovered story." Ledbetter will be adding about five staffers to his brand new bureau to help the San Francisco-based Standard get a handle on NYC.
