Three Thomson newspapers roll out a new regional Sunday paper beginning April 11. Central Wisconsin Sunday is a joint effort of the Marshfield News-Herald , the Stevens Point Journal and Wisconsin Rapids' Daily Tribune . Jamie Mara , News-Herald city editor, moves up to become the Sunday paper's editor. He'll get at least six more editorial employees to build on the cluster's combined editorial staff of 45. The Sunday edition also will include features and sections from the Appleton Post-Crescent , a Thomson paper that the Wisconsin Newspaper Association has judged best of its size four out of the last six years. "We want to extend the quality of the Post-Crescent in the move into Central Wisconsin," says Randy Gra , president and CEO of the chain's Central Wisconsin Strategic Marketing Group. Thomson anticipates a circulation of 45,000 for Central Wisconsin Sunday.
